He's spent his career on one problem: helping people actually get the care they need, and the care they didn't know they needed. That means helping payers and providers improve coding accuracy with compliant revenue, so more resources go back into care instead of getting lost in the system. Augustus has never lost a client - a track record Mark is committed to building on, not just inheriting.
Before Augustus, Mark spent 20+ years across healthcare delivery, risk adjustment, and member engagement, including sales and leadership roles with Oracle, Diagnostic Robotics, Matrix Medical Network, Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), TriZetto Healthcare Solutions, and Medical Mutual, working directly with medical groups, health systems, health plan leaders, and health tech innovators.
His approach is simple: listen first, understand how things work on the ground, and earn trust before pushing change. He started his career as an Army officer, which still shapes how he leads - steady, accountable, focused on outcomes that matter to people, not just metrics.
Outside of work, he volunteers with Golden Retriever Rescue and spends his time on, under, and around the water - fly fishing, working with his hands, and time with family.
