An acknowledged innovator and always one to question the status quo, her support and activism for coding has been at the core of her accomplishments. Whether it be implementing self-directed work teams, redesigning workflow or implementation of technology-driven solutions to support consulting engagements, coding has been the driving force.
Identifying the need for more substantial and timely resources for coders led her to develop and bring to market JustCoding.com™ during her tenure at HP3. She was also part of the committee that created the national Coding Roundtable network for AHIMA. Practical education and volunteerism have been a hallmark of her career leading to speaking engagements at both national and regional professional meetings in addition to a plethora of coding-related audioconferences.
